Turkey Bacon: Fine Woodworking Live 2012 Review with Asa Christiana

Fine Woodworking Magazine just wrapped up its first ever live conference in New Paltz, NY- Fine Woodworking Live 2012.  The show ran August 3rd through 5th, and featured the magazines usual cast of contributors and editors for an information packed weekend.

Fellow Modern Woodworker Rob Bois got a chance to sit down with the magazine's editor and show planner, Asa Christiana, and discussed everything from turkey bacon to teen woodworkers.  In the interview, you'll find out what worked, what didn't, and what you might expect to see next year.  Asa stopped short of giving a guarantee, but it sounds like the show is going to become an annual event.

  1. Thanks, Rob and Nick. Just got the word that FWW Live is good to go for years to come. Our first-ever event was a smash!

    1. Great news, Asa. We'll see you next year!

Can I be a pest and request that it be in July? ;-)

  2. Great News Asa! We'll be sure to spread the word!
